The Four Kings and the Road to the Grand Championship

Postby Logress » Tue Aug 30, 2011 8:48 pm

Who are the FOUR KINGS? Well, we're having four qualifiers for the GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP, and this year we're going to have one per month, each one crowning that month's king. First up, is the KING OF SEPTEMBER, who will be decided LABOR DAY WEEKEND. (that's this upcoming weekend...)

This weekend's qualifier will take place in the Ranked arenas, that means, you're fighting in FOLRART. Points work the same way as weekly rankings, 2 points for a win, -1 point for a loss, 1 point for a draw. NO Camping, and NO Private battles! To stop people from not eating and not sleeping this, points will ONLY be counted for THREE HOURS per day. And when scoring, we will pick your HIGHEST SCORE of the three days (they are not added together, so you can play just one day and be on reasonable footing with Iczers who play on multiple day).

TIMES:

Sat the 3rd: 9 PM EST - Midnight

Sunday the 4th: 12 Noon - 3 PM EST

Monday the 5th: 12 Noon - 3 PM EST

PRIZES

1st - 5,000 Gran, the Title of KING OF SEPTEMBER, and a ticket to the Grand Championship

2-20 - 15 Point cards

Everyone who plays in Crest or Folrart during those times - 3 Point Cards

I forgot to mention, in addition to the FOUR QUALIFIERS we will be holding before the end of the year, and of course the FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP where the Four Kings must face each other, there is one other challenge you will have to overcome if you are to stand at the very top of Alteil... and that is...

WORLD CHAMPION FIRMAMENT!

That's right, Firmament himself will be your final challenge! So Firm, you can just sit back and watch for now.

Are you ready to walk the road to the Grand Championship? Do you have what it takes to be one of the Four Kings? Log in this weekend to find out!

Hrmmm. Only 3 hours per day and you take the best score out of all of those. Now what deck currently has the highest winning %, while still being easy to make, and can burn through matches quickly.......

I think we all know where this is going.

Spyclone?
Or Gowen burger combo?
Definitely not something from Refess I'm pretty sure.

Awesomesauce. Even the times are pretty good. And the prize. If this doesn't make activity shoot up, I don't know what would.
