Gold packs/boxes is just awesome, if they stay forever.

Achievements is the thing i am most excited for, since it gives everyone a purpose in this game and we dont get to have ppl just logging and playing 2-3 games per day and then log out till the next day. It would be nice if the rewards were worth the grinding effort as well. :D

Wishing alteil a good year. I hope it will bring many players who are starting to lose interest back (I am not playing much atm, but i am considering returning full time) :D

Any news on FM lotto / point cards?

Neat. I claim credit for a card/file rental system idea. :V

Point card rework and FM lotto? Couple of large concerns I had. All in all, neat update though.

I kinda wanted Lavato Heroes, but I understand the programming difficulties you might have with that xD.
Thanks Logress and the rest of the GM's! Hopefully everyone(mostly) is happy now.

HAPPY NEW YEAR INDEED!

For everyone wondering about FM lotto and a pointcard system fix, there are other threads you can discuss this in. How about we use this thread to discuss what WAS addressed in Logress' massive post?

Question DWildStar. If we discuss the point card / FM lotto stuff in those threads, will the GMs make any comment on them?

This is fantastic news, especially the achievement system. It's cool to have something to work towards beyond more weekly Gran.

This is still up for debate. The issue is not all achievements can be retroactive. Some information required for them to work is not saved. I.E. the win count for a particular file goes away as soon as you change it and there is no long term record of its contents.

On the other hand things like, 50 game winning streak are easy to get at any time. What will most likely happen is that anything we can make retroactive we will (partially because it would be more work to exclude old information than to just let the system find them).

Nothing set in stone on this yet as we are doing a lot of experimenting as we go but that's what i think will happen. If anyone has any strong opinions one way or the other (not sure why anyone would be against making some being retroactive but who knows) now would be a good time to mention it.
