You're right, winning 10 X against a deck you have to get randomly in Folrart would be pretty unlikely. But if it's the top meta or a top meta, chances are there's someone grinding it all the time, so if say, the achievement was win one time it'd probably be do-able.

Still, a little silly.

Grand Achievement
Hunt and defeat Mavel
Prize - 60 Point Cards

I'd really hope I can get this one retroactively lol.

same :D
won twice, though I think I lost at least 5 times if not closer to 10...
Needs a new sig, but haven't come up with one.

does the phrase "work in progress" mean anything, to anybody?
if not, google or wikipedia might be a good shot to straighten that out...

@Animeniac: you've pretty much said what i was going to. seriously people, there sure is a lot of vinegar in your veins if all you're just going to piss and moan about these new additions not being everything you wanted them to be. premium features are just kind of there, for the people who spend, it'll be theirs for free, for people who don't, they won't notice not getting them. so big deal?
and hey, a quest/achievement system.

i like how all the people who say that the GMs are constantly ignoring suggestions never seem to actually pop back up to say "oh, sorry i guess i was wrong"
too many neurons involved or something.

i like the extra slots...because i'm kind of a ho-ar for making random themed files sometimes. i'm not big on the recording thing, but it is a neat feature and if i decided to use it, maybe it wouldn't slow things on my computer down like running just about anything outside of firefox and maybe a couple of other programs.

and, who knows what else might be added later?

and lets face it, regardless of whether or not you think everything should be point cards, an achievement system is pretty much pure win.

achievement system > no achievement system
same for recording and extra file space.

That pretty much sums it up.

Seriously, so many new players are irrationally scared of chat, but once they stop in and actually try to talk (and not just ask a question and vanish) they usually stick around more often.

Ohh, I like this too. Bridge the gap between the new players and the "scary" vets. Although I'm not sure what sort of requirements there should be though... enter and exit doesn't sound like it'll work... if there's a minimum chat req, won't stop people just spamming either just to get the prizes.

One thing I didn't like about the chat when I was a noob, people there barely recognized me when I was trying to join in on the conversation.

Well, that is awfully funny ...
But many new players are indeed scared of the chat, well some don't care either way and just sit around and throw few lines here and there and you start to know them at least a little. For example from the new people there is that Vascha guy (he is a chef at some restaurant :o, so i always bother him with questions) and then there is ... there is ... nevermind. But there are new players that took the initiative to join the chat!

I think i got remembered even early on because of what i said. Not sure tho.
Peralisc2 : omg that damn blue thing, undine slowing down my units so much, i hate it
Peralisc2 : that stupid way of killing front row unit, removes 1 tanker and leaves your back rows wide open, i hate that
Peralisc2 : know when they play flesh recycle on my labeau?
Cheezy : You hate it?
Peralisc2 : Yes

// some other day
Random Guy : so pera what do you hate today?
Peralisc2 : not sure right now
Peralisc2 : might be your turn
Random Guy : aw :(

Alteil is pretty much well balanced. Sometimes you loose and sometimes the enemy wins.
