As you can imagine everyone here is terribly worried about the events going on in Japan. We have many associates, friends and family around the country. It is incredibly frustrating to watch this disaster unfold and have little to no means to help. We’ve posted a link to the Japan Society’s earthquake fund. They have set up an easy donation system that will go to the many groups assisting with the rescue efforts. The American Red Cross homepage has a section for quake relief donations as well as the Japanese Red Cross (this is slightly more difficult to use due to the need of bank to bank transfers).
Financial assistance may not seem like much in the face of a catastrophic event, but without our combined efforts, those rescue groups that are on the front line cannot sustain.
Life is short my friends and you never know when it will slip away. Enjoy the world to its fullest, but always stop to help others do the same.
Peace
GGG
