I was wondering the same thing since in the past the 10 turn stipulation has always been mentioned in the front page news and events. This is a new type of 5 of 7 though. So perhaps the turn requirement has been done away with? But to be safe until we here otherwise I would assume the 10 turn rule is still in effect.
It'd be nice if the turn requirement was written down explicitly in every post for every event. It's as simple as typing out sentences along the lines of "Duels have to be at least 10 turns to count" and "Duels don't need to be at least 10 turns to count" and then copy pasting the appropriate line into the announcement. It's not a big thing, but it helps avoid confusion among the players.

Yes Logress hear your peoples words and abolish the 10 turn rule and make it 6(Lower would be even better) turns or something. Infact do it now so that I may laugh at all the people who quit turn 9, and think they were funny.
Professional Spectator Yuni City Duelists have free tea, what can I say Was a Free player till lvl 140 ... I heart Alteil QQ. Logress I hate the 10 turn rule.
I want to say what a huge improvement this new type of 5 of 7 is over the old format. As a player who has participated in every 5 of 7 over the past couple of years (with multiple accounts) I've never won anything other than the standard participation prize. But this way everyone has the ability to win the grand prizes. And the new format rewards those who play more. Great idea!
