I am very happy with new EX cards. Also, I think that half box are a good idea. However, I don't think its a good idea to offer them in only half-box format since it penalize players who already have a big collection of cards (that you encourage with the new complete cards). Seriously near 700 gran for only one card (1000 gran - 300 gran of average recycle value) is very expensive, that 2100 gran for a playset.

Why not offer Meltiria box and Sakon box that contain one playset and no other cards.

Because right now, the more you release half-box, the less its interesting (in CpC) to buy them.

I agree. I think it too expensive as well. For 3000 gran (roughly 30 usd) you get 3 ex, 3 RANDOM 4 stars, 6 RANDOM 3 stars and 81 cards of unknown rarity-most likely 1 and 2 stars. if you recycle everything but the EX and assume you get nothing but 1 stars then it should cost you [3000 - (3x100)-(6x30)-(81x5)] = 1185 gran. So Most expensive cost would be 1815 gran for 3 or roughly 6 bucks each.

That being said, we wouldn't even have half boxes if the forum community hadn't had an uproar when they did the original catira / Rileria lottery thing way back when. Didn't the catira and Rileria half boxes have increased rarity rates than the lotto on the 27 other cards? These 2 must have the higher recycle rate, otherwise it doesn't make sense to price them higher than traditional ex cards.


I recall Logress stating in that thread about doing the numbers on the recycle value before it could be released.

Anyway, as an aid to future spender perhaps those that buy can let us know what the contents of their boxes contain for reference.

The half boxes could even help out if you had an option in the shop to limit which set(s) your random cards came from. It'd be a middle ground from sell EX by themselves vs random half box attached

These two powerhouses of spring will be available in Half-Boxes for two weeks, starting Monday the 23rd.

My meager deductive reasoning skills hint me to two weeks, but that might just be a red herring.

half box is terrible idea... I have almost all of the cards and refuse to spend to get copies of 2 cards...

you need to release a box that has only those new cards. a 1500 gran box for all 6 cards
