TCGPlayer.com Rankings

Postby lupos » Wed Aug 27, 2008 1:08 pm

So, while I was at GENCON 2 weeks ago I met a couple of the guys from TCGplayer.com. They wandered by the booth and after a brief chat where very interested in our little game here. Well, now they have a review up and its overall very positive. Only Major complaint is, and this is something we can all agree on, they say our community is still to small. Well in an effort to help remedy that, we'd really appreciate it if you all took a few moments of your time to hop over to their ALTEIL section and rate the game(registration required). Now, I'm not asking for perfect marks, be honest. I'd like to think if you're still here and reading the forums, you'll probably be fairly positive anyway. If all goes according to plan we can get up on their "Top Released Games" section on their home page. (and get them a few new registrants in the process :P )

We will also be running an ad with them in the very near future as well to try and draw in some fresh meat, every little bit helps, but this will help us know how much traffic they can actually send our way. :)

I don't understand, from what I skimmed through the article this reviewer loved Alteil but gave it mediocre scores because of our small community? That just doesn't add up.

Can't play a game by yourself i guess would be the logic behind it... I don't know really, i can't read it just now.

Perhaps They will do future reviews as more expansions come out. Would make sense considering how much some CCGs change in play over time. I do feel it was a bit harsh with the final number but I'm certainly not gonna get all Denis Dyack up in here :P

The gauntlet has been thrown. Why must the gauntlet be thrown? Can't it be a fist?
