Heavier decks

Postby Tarlen » Fri Oct 21, 2011 7:57 am

Hi ppl.
I just started to play in Forlart arena, and it appears that my Gowen starter just not making it up for those decks around.
And it appears to me that this may be not only because those decks are generally stronger, but because my creatures are smaller,
and i have to trade of 2 or more creatures for one - so i loose LP faster and loose the game.
And also now i gain SP for LP lost so heavier creatures are easier to cast.
It seems to me that i need heavier deck now, what do you think - is that true?
I only need to decide where to get cards for that deck though.

Gowen starter is really quite decent. Would you mind explaining how you play the file, maybe a replay and/or your file itself? Should allow us to help you troubleshoot better. Also, what "heavier" cards do you have at the moment that you could add?

A lot of ppl start out with the Gowen starter. You can get some wins if you play it right. Current environment in Folrart is tough with everyone dusting off their top files to win treasure battles for the Miku event. I recommend re-opening your post in Lapierre's classroom forum. Post your file and ask for some help on how to play it. Also, there are some very good posts in that forum, and this one, on how to play Gowen starter and some mods you make to it.

Good luck and welcome!

Thanks for the answers.
I was thinking realy hard and was in doubt about this decision, but finanlly i just bought licans.
They appeared to be very nice guys :) , not like the image i was scared off.
And most importantly they are stronger then gowen starter.
I hope i will return to Gowen in a time.
Or swich to Refess - i like them to - knights and priests and the like, maybe even Falkow though i dont fill like it.
Again, thanks everybody for your answers.

smaller files tend to win over big files these days as well simply put a lvl 6 is not twice as good as a lvl 3
i apologise for any incomprehensible posts as i tend to make them

Yeah don't think so much in terms of "heavy" or "light" as much as efficient and not-efficient. There are some very good files you can put together of all types. They just need to be efficient and fundamentally sound.
