natural born killers: need some tips, please pros?

Right now I'm rolling a NBK deck w/ no modifications made (I also purchased the DARK RUSH so if any cards would go good w/ the NBK, suggestions would be helpful). I am winning quite often in crest arena but those are against players who really don't know what they're doing most of the time. I recently played a level 100 and something iczer and was creamed with their insane refess deck. BTW originally a gowen rush player (starter with slight mods) and for some reason recycled starter switcher.

My opening varies- mostly opening with shade>smoke and then madness to res back any lost smokes... after I established my tank i bring out ignia and then shield for the heavy hitting action. I don't think this is the ideal way to open so i would like a suggestion on this. Someone told me recently to open w/ Lebeau to put pressure on the opponent.

I know only 1 of something is not ideal but would any of the 1s be something to build upon?
