Players same level starting with more lp?

I've searched the forums, searched the site, and can not find the reason as to why some players start with more than 6 lp when they're the same level. I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me how the lp system works. Thank you.

Each Soul Card has a set amount of LP. Typically, Soul Cards with stronger effects have less LP. LP is not tied to level in any way, it's entirely dependant on what cards you decide to set as your Soul Cards. Also, Soul Cards will activate their effect when all of the LP it contains has been lost, and they lose LP in a certain order (Which you likely have already figured out)
