Mercenary Nation

I'm considering pursuing them (with money), and want to be sure about my decision (money). What are your opinions on a Mercenary Nation File? Good? Decent, hard to work with? Or should I just go for pixies? (last part not serious)

It is decent but not top tier, I would say they are a step below faeries in terms of effectiveness even if you were not serious.

I would go for it, they are pretty fun to use. Not the best but I had fun playing them.

merc nation seems interesting in theory. Too bad most of their units are in the perfect hp range to be one shot by every soul skill and grim

I happened upon 3 copies of Delrare, so I figured I might as well use him. I'm glad to hear Beltorat is getting 4 new units. I considered adding some falkow low leveled support to the file also, along with hybrid grims and of course Pullermia.

Broadsword
Bladesman
Dual Gun
Spy

These are all great Merc nation and I think a well played file could drop Pixies in a heartbeat. I doubt it would be worth the cost to get a lot of these cards though...

Besides Ex: Fierte and Broadsword, there isn't really anything to hold a Merc Nation file together though. Don't even think of Delrare's skill; you're lucky if there's 1 other MN unit still alive when he finally rolls his turn at 1 Agi, and if there are they'll probably die to a SS/open the next turn anyway. xD

Don't forget Heierrat Army.

I don't see them very often and when I do they don't seem very competitive without the usual Shringer type ending. I think it's a weaker filetype then Martial Artists, but they can be competitive with end game grim spam or Shringer.

This is assuming your soul skill line up is stellar as well.
