Underdog... what's the point in participating?

I'm not new to Alteil (playing for a year), and I've been trying to find information to this question throughout the site and forums. I still don't know why people participate in underdog. So, can somebody please explain to me what rewards are given by participating in underdog files?... if there even are any =S

You get 10 point cards if you win 10 battles with underdog.
