No you should never put out a tribal buffer before you put out a tribe member.

Anyways, I restate what I said before. Shade -> Hell smoke -> shade (to avoid first damage SS) -> Priestess of madness "creates a frontline that is hard for some files to get past."

It'll give you time to set up your wild dog field and generate SP for Revives and abilities.
When the end comes, and enemies are rushing in from all sides, I will be at your right hand.
