Had an annoying experience fighting the lvl 20 npc when this situation came into effect. He used his "subtract MAX HP from all cards on the field" unit skill, this killed all 4 of my units and 2 of his lvl 7 Earth Dragons. He had 1 LP left and I had 2 LP and was able to revive 2 of my cards. I thought i was okay seeing as he had 1 LP, because surely 1 of his cards would be removed before both of mine. But no, my 2 level 3 cards were removed first thus losing me the game.

I'm thinking it's because my units were placed many rounds ago, and his dragons were relatively new on the field. Still really annoying though!

Actually, I'm pretty sure you should have won that... I need to test it.

@lightray55,

I'd have to say that is a bug in the system.
Any self inflicted damage by souls or skills from units always resolves on the controlling player first when it effects both sides.
Any effect that has a mass effect for both sides, always resolves:

1>Controlling player of effect
2>Numerical order: 1-9 (ascending).
3>Opposing Player also in ascending order 1-9

Thus on the following turn the NPC's should of been removed first.
It has nothing to do with time or turn count that a unit has been on the playing field, nor does AGI effect their demise order.

I'm guessing this is not a desired effect.
(Or I'd hope not), unless of course you want people to start using Tempest a lot more for some reason. ;a33
