Just because I use it doesn't make it mediocre.
I may actually use my point cards to get a Magic Shade (once I have 20).
A lot of mid-level players don't keep counters in their deck (levels 10-40).

its something that works in theory. same goes with trying to make a top teir deck with gowen pit.
