Spell Lock & Punishment Hole

So a card is played... You cannot play your card the next turn (i.e. end of your revive phase).
You cannot play on the turn after that,
and you cannot play on the turn after that.

I count three.
flood + Pakistan = hunger

its only 2, the turn that u use it at the same time, they can use a grim in the same open as your spell lock.

Basically they do not take effect until next turn.

Which equals three.

I am a terrible counter, or the description needs to be changed, or the card needs nerfing.

I await some explanation or testing (before I choose between punishment hole and Panther Soul).

turn 1 you play spell lock - your opponent CAN play grim here and it WILL have effect.
turn 2 lock your opponent's grim
turn 3 lock your opponent's grim
turn 4 any card your opponent wants

only 2 turns are locked.

It's not three turns, Phenoca. Read again.

It's next turn and the turn after.

Next being 1, and turn after being 2.

I've been triple punishment holed before, which is annoying as all hell, but I still won, so I'm not sure about nerfing.

Spell lock could actually use an extra turn on it, but maybe that's just the Falkow user in me.

I wish I had a spell lock, I could use a counter to Big (colour) nubcakes.

Course, Wrath of the Constellations would work too.

And I did have Spell Lock before, but it was erased when I reset my deck : )
