how does alteil calculate XP?

I'm somewhere in the low 20s, level wise, and all of a sudden, my xp gain from battles has just stopped. How does alteil calculate the XP you receive from a duel? What factors affect it?

xp = (level diffrence x 2 + 10) x1.5 if you played pub game

Up to level 20, that 10 xp constant is a 20 instead. I think that's what you're seeing in terms of lower xp gains now. Also, the level difference peral mentions only applies if the opponent you beat is of higher level than you.

When was this!? I lost to a level 76 person today and got ONE experience point.
...I'm level 15.

Nice to know ahead of time I'll be getting less experience at level 20+ then.

Are you sure that wasn't a draw? You always get 1xp for a loss (aside from using potions), but I think drawing with a much higher level player can give you decent xp.

I'm sure it wasn't a draw. Maybe I'm just misremembering, but I'd swear I've picked up half-levels after getting creamed by worthing, firegon or mavel...

Okay, I just won a duel against someone 50 levels higher than I am, and I watched him get the same 200ish XP as I did...I'm now pretty sure you don't need to win to get xp.

when that bar fills up after a match, it doesn't show how much xp is gained from the match, it just fills from 0 everytime to wherever they were.

Multi is correct. That's just flavor animation. Make a note of how much total xp you have before a match. You can do this under your profile on the My Iczer page. If you lose the next match, see if you only have 1xp more than you had before. That should be the case.
