Hellspawn / Zalzagul

I am not sure if I am the only one but the ability "Piece of Hell" is misleading to me. I think this comes from my experience in other card games, primarily Magic.

Piece of Hell reads
When on the field, this unit cannot be targeted by Grimoires and Soul Skills.


My issue is the word targeted. I think the more appropriate word would be "affected".

Target and targeted, to me, are when an effect directly "targets" something. Ex: Fire Arrow, Assassin soul skill

"Target" is not something like Shear Winds, which affects all units without targeting any.

I hope I am not causing confusion, it is just the wording was very misleading to me in what I thought the unit could theoretically do and what it can do in practice.

It is missleading to everyone since some people think row damage that target an unit on the same row as him still affect him. But they don't.

You are right word needs to be changed to "affected".

Zalzagul is also "invisible" to random selections from Grims and Soul skills. Meaning, "3 random units" are hit, Zalzagul will never be one of those three, and three other units will always be the random targets.

Just watched a match with Hellspawn in cemetery, and Soul return did not pick them back up.

The skill text clearly saids "When on field" I'd consider cemetery off the field correct? So it should be able to be returned, please check/fix!

If that bug does exist then does it mean that card draining SS also can't affect him?
