Is it possible that the system no longer relies on position for skill activation? I know we recently proved that for open skills*. It's possible that now skill activation for close skills in cases of mass extinction is random...

Logress - The situation
Magma Golem (AGI 1) in slot 1
Giant Gorilla (AGI 2) in slot 3

In most of the game situations I have encountered (85%+) when they were both killed by the same action it would go Golem close, then Gorilla close reviving Golem. So in most cases it would abide by field position and not agility.

I thought close skills would go by position too, but artist's bug(?)/discrepancy suggests otherwise. I know in open skills agility is king and then after that things are done by random. With close skill I thought order of closing was king and then followed by controller of effect and then board position.

An interesting note about close skills: They're put in the cue, but if they activate a counter skill, the counter skill goes off right away. Then the cue continues with the rest of the close skills.
