Well, a lot of people have seen it already, but my favorite theme deck is my Undead Pirate deck, also known as my Pirates of the Caribbean deck. The basic foundation is 2 Pirate King Dub Rido and 3 Skeleton Warrior, plus 2 Shades to make your opening work. Bazgar's Soul Skill makes the Warrior strong early, and Rido keeps him self-reviving forever, plus gives you infinite shades. Then just contain your enemy and make him waste his Grimoires and Soul Skills as best you can, until Dub Rido dies. After that, do any Falkow endgame you wish. I recommend keeping Lawtia at 2 (and use the level 2 Grimoires).
considering its a theme deck it's strangely effective... well, I guess it's more of a theme opening than a theme deck.

Heh, seeing as we have a severe shortage of pirates, a minimal theme of Dub Rido and his skeleton crew works just fine for me as a theme deck.

Also, a response from Logress, I'm stunned. D:

Burn Baby Burn!

Soul Cards
Dryad Soldier
Dryad Soldier
Pirate King / Dub Rido
Skeleton Warrior
Pirate King / Dub Rido

Characters
2x Flame Emperor / Allind
3x Fire Storm / Bander
3x Bellydancer / Kurina

Units
3x Salamander Soldier
2x Blitz Soldier
3x Exploding Spores
3x Salamander

Grimoires
2x Rapid Growth
3x Fire Arrow
Fire Tornado

Using it:
Open with Kurina->Blitz, then fight valiantly dropping a spore then using Rapid Growth and let those first to SS's go off naturally. Then drop allind on the empty field, let him close to activate Dub Rido and play him again the following turn. Once he is played the second time start building up the Bander and Salamander Soldier team and use Salamander/Grimoires to finish off units and keep Allind kicking as much as you can.

Variant:
Swap a Kurina for a third Blitz to extend the life of your opening.

Nice. I've always liked theme decks, even if they're generally ineffective. I could pull off Burn Baby Burn if I had some pirate kings. ;)

It certainly is! That's why I'm working on that yuri fanfic of the two of them! (If it passes mod standards, it will be showing up here in the forums, too!)
