Help defeating undead please!

i dont know how to handle a well played undead file. i dont think i have any file that can reliably beat them.

any tips?

also tips for recovering against shelby->song sorc->ghoul mage ss combo

Ur thinking of the shelby -> song -> invis druid SS combo and that's used by good ole fischerchew

Undeads beating 101 -

Refess - use one of the 9000+ ways of undead h8 u have stored (Talisman of Disruption being my favorite)

Falkow - return those things that retrieve undead units and kill the main units in the field

Lawtia - sp control and francis

If you find you are running into alot and seem to have good showing vs all else consider replacing you dmg ss w max hp reduction ss, simple as that, what file are you playign and do you have sergis, girl combat priest, lady of conflict/catira instead of galfc/asuet, and right hand shield whatever are going to help this match up alot and are not bad ss otherwise.

There are only a few things than really manhandle undeads.

1) Jack winston
2) Kaldpierre (kaldrao wins so hard vs shade open)
3) Serpent

Pretty much everything else loses.

Undead afraid of the following thing:

1. Sergis series SS, MHP -40 * 2 SS, MHP-40 LP 2 SS and the newly MHP-40 child of annorose LP 1 SS
2. Cannot be attack by attack action start skill or trait: Kin Fighter, Lv 2 Falkow Miku, Lv 6 Sea Monster or the forgotten flash paladin, Mermaid Princess Emana
3. Engage effect: Rasam SS, Frog, Timestop, BKR, Belus (these two need to engage the Lich or the priest to be effective)
4. MHP changing effect: Burning Sun, Hand of the God, Talisman of dis, Francis, Raste, Girl Combat Priest (She hates Lich so much)...Annette, Jack
5. Undead Hate specific: Folrart Monk, Folrart lady paladin, set 10 3-star Lv 4 refess TGC character, MD-exo.
6. Removal: Return, Assassin SS, Dion., 6th Heaven Devil, Deathmaker and the like...
7. Ranged targetted high Dmg: Wizard archer of Regus, Princess of Key Emana
8. Multiple high Dmg: Jack, DanDan, Dalos+Word of Dalos, Alliend, ball of flame, Burning Air, 50dmg to all lawita unit SS
9. SP drain: Shade, Death Embrance, Gafc SS, Violet SS, MD-Exo
10. Super high DF: Giant Arth., Holy Shield Combo, Elite mage knight of Regus SS

My general strategy for fighting undeads is human wave tactics. It's about as efficient and successful as it was for the Soviets.

Giant manta ray supertrolls undeads. Field shuffling also can mess them up. MaxHP hate is an obvious one. Hum. Undeads are irritating to fight, but can be rather cute when they are met with a hard counter.

For undeads to help counter the counters...
Open shade and miku if you have her if not EX CAK if not him any random level 3 unit that may benefit undeads without being one, this will throw opponent off in predicting what file you are using and you can eventually let it die for a soul and sp refund. this also helps in wasting the first ss and maybe even second which may be sergis.

pack soul binds to deal with manta rays and feline, since their ability is only good if it activates. when facing falkow make sure to get priest out only when there are two undead on the field, the falkow player would have to decide to return mad priest or one undead and risk mad priest leveling the other.

Sp reducing grims can help in preventing the use of abilities such as raste.


Also a couple of counters usually isn't going to be enough to deal with undeads if you are not in a position to capitalize on them. for example I lost to gowen a while back because he/she was fortunate enough to hit my lich causing it to close, then fire arrow, and let a unit die to activate a soul that then closed it.
