
Okay so this is a pretty solid mermaid file, based around early sp advantage and unit spam. The idea here is to get emana out asap and build a field around her which she sustains with the +10 hp merm heal of her action. Honestly not much to say about tactics since it revolves around keeping emana on field and loling at ur opponents as they try (and fail) to build a field to counter her.
Units:
Emana - opness
Cath - open + Emana buff (punish passive opens)
Undine - for SS
Merms Shield - Free rev + 10 def on Emana
Merm Soldier - Pinpoint, ideally replaced by spear
Merm Soldier (Human) - Def penetration and engage
Merm Spear (Human) - Rush Control
Metia - End Game Buffer when Emana decides to die
Owl Sage - OP grim/Sala bait
Faytis - Replace for third Metia, rarely used and wasted file space
Grims:
MoF - sp gen to move into lvl 4 range
Tidal - get rid of those anoying random lvl 2s (toromea) and t2 lash vs other falkow players
Return - See above for lvl 3
Wrath - See above for lvl 4 and use after you're done popping out lvl 4s, if you haven't noticed this file is very sp efficient and reasonably tanky (I now understand why some wk units can nvr get over 40 hp)
Weaknesses:
As you've noticed the file has 8 loses so it isn't the perfect killing machine. About half of these matches could have been won if I had a third copy of either emana or metia. The others were loses to:
Big Black - Zu wipes the floor with our merms
EN - file has very little in the means of lvl 2 control
Dion/Emana - Emana got locked out
Emana/Mystere - see above
