Story influencing Card Strength sometimes ...

Don't you get the feeling that the story is often influencing card strength?

- Set 2 see emp rampage (although not sure legayre is the strongest storywise).
- Last set mirelia and the wiz kingdom go rampage.
- Not sure thunderbolt was ever part of the story, see his strength. Bringer on the other side being a badas in the story somehow also made him a badas in folrart.

Now mirelia decks are falling, so we get the wait for errata, to get a feeling of the long wait for their kingdom to fall. Fits into the story!


This set i think marduk already made it's strength and presence into the story clear!

Most necessarily card strength (but character do tend to be stronger), but definitely card flavor and abilities.

Marduk and Urgrant:
The were betrayed by Durendal. If i remember correctly, these 2 ended up being exiled to Refress/Lawtia, hence their abilities.

Durendal:
The Immortal Paladin that was suppose to protect WK.

Beast King / Rivera:
Has Belus's skill, just at a lower level range.

Bistya and Glosfiea:
Enchanted armor that protects and buffs one another.

Sorry for being a bit off topic here, but does anyone have a good link for learning a bit more of alteil story until set 7?

You can see a lot of flavour text on the cards themselves while in the editor, and sometimes dialogue shows up during battle (But I don't think Set 7 dialogue was added yet). Aside from that, it's just whatever the promo page has, and whatever might have been given to other sites to use in articles (I think TCGPlayer had one on Alteil that explained the relationship between Marduk and Urgrant a little, while advertising the set 7 launch).

US Alteil is waaaaaaaaaay behind on translating all of the story pages from JP Alteil. <.<

Yeah, it really sucks that i cant read the story the way i would like. The story on the site is too little and kinda outdated.
