im going with the Falkow Male (blue?)..god im such a noob xD

I didn't really care for any of the initial four, which was kind of disappointing for me cause I was hoping for a cool angel-like refess avatar. However the new 4 are all amazingly cool, its going to be so hard for me to choose between them. I may end up rolling a die or something to make the final decision for me.

I may however do a DanTheTimid and pick the Gowen girl despite my true gender

Ironically I might not even end up picking a female avatar, both of the new guy ones also look really cool, but I find it humorous that you already associate me with using female avatars just because I asked if we would be allowed to use avatars of both genders in an old thread.

I am definitely now really debating which of the avatars I'm going to pick. Now that I saw the new ones it is a hard choice. I especially like the Lawtia ones but I like the wings on the Falkow set too.

Any news on those beta exclusive gift avatars? Last I heard they were supposed to be out sometime last week (I saw them in the shop early on but they were un-buyable), but haven't heard anything since that post at launch. Also, I know they are "gift" avatars for us beta testers, but are they going to cost us any G or FM? I've been stashing some money aside just in case and it would be nice to know so I can spend it

Don't worry, the gift avatars are totally free. Our web guys have been working round the clock to get Paypal streamlined and tweak some other things before the Penny Arcade ad hits. Next priority is to build the Avatar choosing page. GGG has finished the Alpha extras, at least.

Did you say Penny Arcade? like the web-comic Penny Arcade?
EDIT: Or is it like a cool new we spend a penny for random stuff using Paypal?
