It is probably the best of the series, or at least tied for the best, as far as the gameplay itself goes (later versions have more content in the form of costumes and CaS and stuff). If you don't have the game... yeah, the online is crap, but if you can't get it cheaper, or you don't want to mess around with using other systems (and it does have HD and Spawn in it, I guess) I'd spend 20$ for it.

I need to make a 2nd video, there is a weird "weapon break" glitch that happens. You know when sometimes attacks collide? That happens at an increased rate from the first Soul Calibur II, the other person has well finished the attack but if it's still in the ending animations, it can cause the weapon collision.

SC2 has a real funhouse of bugs (although not as much as SC3). There's a very real chance that had been in the original already.

Showing my age I know, but when I was younger we used to have MK and SF parties. Get some beer and snacks in and phone a few mates. Problem solved. ;th2
