I really gotta ask who is writing the storyline?

From what I have heard about the newest Star Ocean that doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

Didn't read any of those yet but will do so. At first sight (judging from the characters) it looks like a mediocre manga also ocean star looks to be centered around teens (sigh). If it at least had a retarded name such as "Bio Meat" and it would be horror genre, i would pick it up and read it until the end for sure (generally speaking).

Alteil is pretty much well balanced. Sometimes you loose and sometimes the enemy wins.

He was talking about the games writer not sure if the same person did the manga though.

They are basically generic Sci-Fi/Fantasy RPG's the first and second ones were good they pretty much went downhill from there though.

Split this off to a Star Ocean topic since the other thread was going off topic.

Right.

Well I am a big fan of the Star Ocean storyline. It was pretty epic IMO. Better than Tales of Symphonia.

star ocean first story, second story and third story was enjoyable.

(i believe those are the snes, ps1 and ps2 games)

I never played the prequel nor the 4th one (prequel came for 360 with recent ps3 version and 4th one just came out recently for ps4..i think)
