I actually liked Kotori...I think she was probably my favorite character..just because I found all the other Da Capo chars to be too unbelievable.

So i'll definitely check out Kotori EX...I also hear Demonbane is coming out sometime this month (YES FINALLY!).

I agree, Kotori is awesome ;th2 Story-wise though, Da Capo sucks. Da Capo II is definitely more awesome.

Oh, and Demonbane is already shipped today :D I'll definitely get my hand that one (from other means).

Yep I have my eyes out looking for Demonbane right now.

And definitely, DC1 was a bit of a snooze...I didnt even really like the characters ...

DC2 is vastly better but I didn't get to finish Otome's route...got to the ending sequence...then i accidentally wiped the game from my comp when I was doing some space clearing...T_T So i got up to the part of the death of the sakura tree then...BOOM T_T

Oh god...I'm in such a dilemma...

Read MuvLuv Alternate...or Demonbane (I just got it today...had to drive to 4 hrs round trip to the states to pick up my copy but worth it!)

Hmm...two awesome VNs with huge mechs and fighting...don't think I can go wrong with either one :D

wow muvluv alternative is long...I have at least 8 hr logs and I feel like I'm just past halfway...

Also, muvluv extra is really really dull. It's too cliche/stereotypical...which makes the humor attempts fail...AND they put all their eggs in the comedy basket.

Muvluv limited is really enjoyable. It's mostly about character, setting and mood development...and it did a darn good job. It's not that exciting and obviously a teaser/build up for alternative...BUT it's really well done.

Muvluv alternative...so far it's awesome...just really long.

My summary of the series so far:

MuvLuv Extra - if you've never played VN and you are not dead to all the common cliches, this isn't bad....if you are, skip this one...read a summary on wiki and that's all you need to know.

MuvLuv Limited - it's the build up for alternative, and a darn good one. Doesn't really have the action of Alternative or other VNs...but it does a great job creating the mood and introducing the situation. Don't skip this one, and it's pretty short too so you only need one playthrough (all the other routes and ending are basically the same in terms of plot...all they add is a bit more character background information and bed scene)

MuvLuv Alternative - so far it's awesome...good action, good plot, good pace...awesome :D

Hmm anyone know any other VNs that's being available in English?

Right now the only ones I have left to read are some parts of Kotori Love Ecstasy Plus and MuvLuv Alternative (this game is so long...I just got to the most gruesome part...for those who know the story, they must know what I"m talking about).
