No words can describe how amazingly messed up this is

MUSHIHIMESAMA FUTARI is quite possibly the hardest game I've seen ever

ah, the two people talking here are Iarsa and Palm [I am assuming those two are talking, since I know Iarsa is and there is a bit of history between those two]. Iarsa is Palms mother who is appearently insane. There was something about a murder in the storyline.

This is the video of the true final boss of the game:

I've played Touhou games and haven't seen anything as crazy as this.

I remember a few months ago I tried my hand at the apply nick named Bullet He*double hockey sticks* games, every boss fight was absolutely ridiculous. These videos really take me back.

It gets better. From what I hear no one on earth has beaten the last boss without continuing.

We should post up our screenshots/vids from danmaku [that is basically what bullet h.e.double hockey stick games are called. lit. 'bullet curtain'] games. I know there are a bunch of them available for free online. I'll start making a list up [of the games, listed on difficulty. I might need a bit of help with this] so we can start up a score posting thread on here.

I totally agree with Grain...

Plus seizure-tastic for some. Dang I would hate to be photosensitive and play that game. And where do you find these games?

When I got to the US there was a place I hang out at all the time that had games like this. [sadly the place shut down...]There was a group of people that ripped jokes about the game [namely how ungodly hard it was] that was how I learned about it. Usually you'll hear about it in game forums, in my case I was way into them and didn't know about the name of them until a few weeks later. A few topics to search on google are: Danmaku, STG, Touhou Project [one of the big names in this genre], Shmups, Bullet Curtain, Bullet He'double hockey sticks', Manic shooter [US name for Danmaku, this name isn't exclusive to japanese shooters so expect to find a game like contra in your search results with this one], Cave [the evil people responsible for MUSHIHIMESAMA FUTARI], ABA games [the big name in PC danmaku games].

I'm still making a list of competition games to play while we wait for the 27th. I'll be using guidelines so everyone can jump in and play.
It's almost done so expect a post with links to the games and other stuff before the week is out.

And here I was thinking that Ikaruga(sp?) was insanely hard, then this thing comes along and makes it look like cakewalk. The bullets took up more space then the empty space, I've never seen so many bullets on the screen at once. Was it my imagination or did the game barely lagged?
