I Wonder, I Wonder!

I wonder how expensive running an online card game is.

I've heard Magic Online has real-life prices for their online packs.

Ka na! Ka na!

Kinda of very expensive, but kind of not. We don't have to have the kind of massive servers that an FPS does, but we do have to be actively creating and running special promotions and things. Plus our bandwidth costs and security and other computer related costs are fairly high. It was a pleasant surprise the first month to make enough to pay that bill with a bit extra. Which doesn't even begin to pay our pay checks. Or licensing fees. Or any number of other costs. Just know this, whenever someone says "come on, they are virtual cards! It doesn't cost anything to make them!", they are wrong.

Thus comes the question.

What is the price of YOUR SOUL?

I would exchange my soul for a cookie..
A really damned good cookie (which I will judge if it was worth my soul after eating it).

well that just defeats the purpose of selling you soul for said cookie. on the other hand, you could get a free cookie out of it; ummmm, cookie from the pits of hell

Not only a free cookie, arguably the world's best free cookie (because logically they would try and give me a cookie I couldn't not trade my soul for)

When I first saw this thread's title my first thought was "what's in a wonder ball!"

Stupid commercials.
