Welcome to the NHK!

Ever had one of those weird animes that creep up on you from behind and swallow you whole? Welcome to the NHK was that anime for me. Though I'm only on episode 6, I have fell in love with it's dark sense of humor. May the discussion ensue.

Lol - know exactly what you mean - had a few series like that, you can't beat them! You know things are getting bad when your on the second disc in a sitting and you've been that involved in the story you can't remember actually changing over the disc.

Been meaning to pick up the manga for this for sometime but am currently working my way through Genshiken before moving on to this. Have every intention of watching the anime at some point but the to watch list is ridiculously long atm.

welcome to the nhk
gosh that one is great
but episode six it only gets better i am tellin you
but the one i still cant get over is EUREKA seveN
i am not much for mecha's but the talk about lay lines and all that is i think what hooked me
i believe in lay lines and i think reffing is possible with a mini magnetic generator and some copper wire runnin' though a board
but that is make nerdiness talkin
i also believe the stargate is real
famous last words: ''trust me, nothing bad will happen...''

I just finished episode 9. And I completely agree with Eureka 7.

nhk was great but the ending of the anime could have been a little more epic... rather then him basicly going "oh well, i'll just deal with it"
