i watched that, it was alright, not really worth all the hype tho imo.

I'd rate Nanoha over that anime in terms of magical girls..

the art in Puella Magi Madoka Magica was interesting but magic girl series just doesnt lure me.

Kiss x sis was kind of boring...like for a game based off a VN, there sure were really crappy plot...I gave up after like episode 4

FMA I've seen.

Toradora currently watching.

Lovely Complex...Im not sure on the art style...

School Rumble...I dont know, I never got into this series...something about it just doesnt appeal to me.

Seto no Hanayome...again artwork kind of disappointing.

Sora no Otoshimono...something about this series just doesnt make it awesome like Love Hina or Sekirei or other harem shows...maybe its the fact that the main character is usually depicted as a chibi...

Higurashi...pure awesome

Ghost Hunt...will check out

Ouran High School Host Club, Kaichou wa maid-sama...again art style not to my taste...seen a bit of it but...

Gantz...Im reading the manga of this series right now and it feels like half way through, the author forgets what he wants to do with the story or something...lol

You didn't even list Erin the Beast Player? For shame, at least look it up on ANN.

True, the hype is created only because of Episode 3. Admittedly, I was lured into watching the anime after I'm spoiled by my friend about that episode. But I think if this series is watched with Magical Girl anime in mind, then it will be a disappointment. I think, instead of like Nanoha, it's more like Chaos Head or Umineko, with lighter tone. Of course, that is given since the writer of Madoka comes from Nitroplus ;)

@Ginnazoh
Try Madoka, at least just to know what series would it be if a Nitroplus writer is making a Magical Girl series

Without spoiling the others, just one word is enough.

Now that I know Madoka is created by someone from Nitro+...I have to check it out..

Also, on the issue of Chaos;Head, are any of the sequels worthwhile like Stein;Gate and whatever they were called...

And, I'll check Erin the Beast Player out eventually Rom xD

Personally, I didn't like the 'badguys' art/concept in madoka. Felt like they got lazy on it and just went the abstract route to be done with it. You could pass and say that its 'unique' but to me, it felt like lazy and not appealing, uniquely bad is what I would call it, but thats just me.

Btw, watching Aria the scarlet ammo atm, its just starting tho so you probably wont wanna watch it since its not yet finished. But I just wanted to mention it because Aria is voiced by the Shana voice actress <33333333 URUSAI! URUSAI! URUSAII!!!!

I'll recommend some anti-moe series that I'm sure no one has watched it here

One Outs
Pros:
- Awesome Main Character
- Psychological Stuffs
- Mind Games
- Clever twist, like one quote I like from this series:"Yes, this game is not about winning anymore, but it's all about who violates the rule most"
Cons:
- Baseball stuffs (I don't like Baseball personally)
- Anti-moe series
- There is no character/plot development. It's all about baseball games.

Kaiji
Pros:
- Gambling Stuffs
- Psychological Stuffs
- Mind Games
- Clever twist
- Manly-tears series, the anime with the most tears I have ever seen
- Developing Main Character
Cons:
- Err... Unique Art?
- Anti-moe series

And also, some mangas I marathoned this week

Awesome
Kuroshitsuji (The anime doesn't do its manga justice)
Solanin (not everyone pieces, very realistic manga. It's as awesome as Inio's other work, Oyasumi Punpun)
The Ravage of Time (For ROTK and War/Politic Manga fans)
Usagi Drop (Awesome Slice-of-Life/Childcare manga)

Good
Bitter Virgin (Good Romance)
Gamble Fish (The gambling stuff is not as awesome as Kaiji, but good nonetheless. I dislike the Shounen stuff thought :( )
Hetakoi (Cute Romance)
Iris Zero (Good All-Around series)
Last Inning (Awesome Main Character, but the baseball is not that good. Consider this a lesser version of One Outs)
Nicoichi (Funny Trap manga)
Nozoaki Ana (Cute Romance)
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX (I always like Yugioh stuffs)
