Okay, Edgar Figaro, you've crossed the line this time, and I'mma have to call you out on it.

Although most video game movies do suck, the Super Mario Bros movie was a pretty great movie. It had everything; Plumbers, Princesses, New York accents, Explosions, John Leguizamo...

And sure, it's not a cut and paste of the video game franchise, but there's plenty of neat references in there, and it's thoroughly entertaining. And in the very least it actually has a comprehensible plot, which is pretty good for 1993 movies.
