Speaking of which, have you guys seen the movie version? Quite a change in story arc but made Saber less of a character

Yes I've seen the movie, the reason it seems that way Icy is because the source is based off the arc which focuses heavily on Archer and Rin. The original TV series took source material from the arc focusing on Saber.

Actually, the series took quite a bit from all three arcs, but the movie was a very close adaption of the UBW arc.
I still remember seeing the movie in the theater last year, the orchestrated surround music just did it for me.

Well, we both know that they altered the original story a fair bit, but you can tell if they are sourcing any arc in the TV series it's the Saber arc.

The only movie version I saw was in JP I couldn't understand anything

Meh... Saber is overrated.
Fate/Zero main point of interest are Irisviel, Kiritsugu, and Alexander the Great.
And the fact Gurobuchi involved too I guess...
