Than & Then

Than & Then

I usually wouldn't do this, but, if Chronomaster can, I will too.

When comparing one thing with another you may find that one is more appealing than another.

Than is the word you want when doing comparisons.

But if you are talking about time, choose then:

“First you separate the eggs; then you beat the whites.”

Alexis is smarter than I, not “then I."

If I have no idea what you're talking about, then what are you getting on?

Many on this forum have been misusing than & then, using the latter in place of the former.

I guess it's because they sound the same in certain accents.

Who said it was a joke?
You made a thread about the difference between than and then. The term for someone who focuses on something as inconsequential as grammar online is a grammar-nazi.

Internet-serious business.

i agree with both sides
it is a taste less joke
but it is true
you should read some of my stuff
improper grammer comin' out the ying-yang
but pointlessly makin' something that has no real purpose is not what ****'s do
the U.S. government does that
look at the alphabet organizations from the great depression
;a30 there is a history lesson
famous last words: ''trust me, nothing bad will happen...''
