Paper Craft

Paper Craft

Postby Rad!oZonde » Sun Aug 10, 2008 12:30 am

One day I got hit pretty hard with the boredom stick [more like severe bashing but whatever]

Then I can across this http://paperkraft.blogspot.com/

I looked through some of this and I'm impressed at what people can make out of paper

from the simple:

To the difficult

and down to the 'unimaginable

[this is just one of the two 'Howl's Moving Castle' papercrafts, this being the more difficult of the two]

This would be a really nice hobby to pick up on. Way less expensive than my gundam model kit hobby.
What draws my interest to this is the fact that none of the pieces are made for you, you have to build each part separately and then attach the parts together to make the final model.

Crazy to think that there really isn't any limit to what this can do.

That site's a good find. I try to build paper models when I can as well, but free time like that isn't as easy to find these days. Yamaha has a whole bunch of high quality files for download:

http://www.yamaha-motor.co.jp/global/entertainment/papercraft/

Check them out, the bikes are very impressive, but there are a few other gems in there too.
