Ok so I just purchased Gran for the first time (2000 potcash -> 2300Gran as everyone knows). My question is, do i still get the 500 gran bonus for being a first time buyer and how long til it shows up in my account?

Yes, if it was your time you SHOULD get money from the first buyer's incentive, since it has been extended to the 31st.
It should come within 24h, a few days, or a week, depending on Gamepot's mood. If it doesn't, file a support ticket.

haha ok so whenever someone feels like owning up to their part of an understood agreement i'll get the 500 gran. roger that. lol tha's just poor customer service. i'll wait 24hrs and then submit a support ticket. thanks. (sorry bout the wrong forum and all)
