Character range?

ATTENTION! Here is where to post BUGS!

Character range?

Postby Illyasviel » Mon Jul 14, 2008 8:50 am

I don't think it's really a bug, so not sure if this belongs here, but I've noticed something.

When I have a character I play and want to keep safe, I'll play it in the 7-8-9 position. Pretty obvious, right? But then, when my opponent's only creature has a Range of 1, and they are in their 4-5-6 position, how in the heck do they destroy my creature?! This has happened several times, so I doubt it's a bug. How is Range supposed to work, anyways?

This has been posted many times already because it's not explained clearly in the tutorial. We're going to have to make this one a sticky.

Range does not mean number of squares from the card you're using (or targeting you). Range of 1 means the character has to be directly in front . Range of 2 means that one card can be between your card and the target etc. Hope this clear things up.
