Bug.

Last night, I was playing against a Gowen deck. I had a Mad Priest out. I play Counterattack, opponent plays Fire Arrow. His Arrow puts my Priest in the negatives, yet I could still use Counterattack on it. Is this a bug or an attempt to give no one initiative during that phase.

Nope this isn't a bug. I believe all grimoire cards are given the chance to play before cards are closed. This actually worked out great for me one time when someone used counterattack on me, but I managed to save a unit because I happened to have a flesh recycle chosen for that turn.
