What is an Alteil-based Fire Emblem hack?

Very interesting.

Some upfront information is needed though. If i only focuss on the graphics part we need;
Sprites:
- Standard pixel hight for characters. (so everything is in sync)
- Number of needed frames. (for battle stance? attack? walking? etc.)
- Settings for backgrounds.
- Etc.

CG Art:
- Featured Characters.
- Resolution.
- Loading screens? PR? Front?

Perhaps you can open up a page with all the needed artwork & details. One where artists can pick a request from to forefill? To me it seems like ALOT of spriting needs to be done so it'll be nice to devide the workload a bit.
Consistancy of style will be important too, so a final editor would be nice to tweak everything together... and ofcourse a selection of simulair skilled Artists.

I might help out Ethikx with some of the CG Art/Sprite work.
I haven't done an awfull lot of sprite stuff before, but i've been drawing animestyle on payroll (40h a week, for 2 years) for a professional cardcompany. If it's artwork you're looking for i could do my share.

Support/feedback from AlteilUS staff would be very much appreciated in this. Copyright issues might occur without their permission, and you're basically making a game on their behalf. Some incentive & compensation from their side would be nice to see this through.
Lets asume for a moment we will have a professional end product, done by professional scripters, writers and artists. (as the crew is very much starting to look like) They could distribute and promote it on their main site. Gawd knows this game is lacking a good storyline on there! A small game following you through a storyline is great opportunity for them to give some needed depth.

We need more coders. So far, we have Teru and me. And trust me, I just checked the current status and we are definitely not enough especially that I will be busy for about a month or so starting next week.
