Close != equal. Ruby in fact is quite unique. I'm currently discovering the language. I'm actually surprised it supports open classes.

It might also be worth noting that the guy who made the engine uses a LOT of weird made-up commands, if I recall correctly from my last look at it.

Updated 01/24/12

The project is moving along at a steady pace. Shirozaki is working on a plot outline, wakka9ca has programmed a primitive save system, angelspawns and ghin have created a few sprites, and Ethikx is currently researching the geography of Lavato.

We are still recruiting; however, we are no longer looking for a story director, or writers, editors, or mapmakers.

We haven't heard from any of the other recruits since they posted in this topic. If you are one of the names on the Recruits list, please contact us if you are still interested.

I know C/C++ and some other scripting, can look up other needed things.

I cannot say I will be a full time coder or anything but I am fully wiling to review code for debugging and such.

In case you guys didn't know, BKR face portrait still isn't changed to bkr one from the screenshots.

And, I want ridrea to be playable in that.

Alkaizer (aka HedronKnight) has requested that I ask for him to be selected for the story development team for the project.
I know that you may not be looking for writers any more but please consider that he has played Alteil JP a great amount (and therefore knows the story) and I believe also understands Japanese.

If you wish to contact him, he is available via e-mailing or in chat
In-game mail (to HedronKnight) would probably be best for him, however.

Oops sorry about that. I sort of used someone else to help me, but I finally got around to getting registered I can always ask my school about selecting courses later today. Anyways, yes I know the JP storyline a bit better than it's been told in USA. Also yes I can read some Japanese, if not I have tons of Japanese friends in my department that will most likely be more than willing to help. Also as far as sprites go, I could help a bit I guess I use Adobe Photoshop, currently helping Someone with their guild's Banner.EDIT: So yes e-mail, in game mail, or on forums (which would be more unlikely, since I mostly go on game and notice the mails righ away,) contact me like that.
