Well it's obvious that he refers to our server since he made the announcement over here, otherwise he should give few rare cards as apology for getting our hopes up. @_@

perhaps until the game is actually improved through change or perhaps forever since there are so damn many other games and better things to do @_@

if he was(which im saying he is not) not his fault, most paying players in alteil.jp did what i did when alteil desided to mass errata alot of paid cards, example why alteil is slashing certain free features, and forcing players to buy higher price items to get newer cards. besides, i would love to play that #1 game MMORPG, the screenshots look amazing, i hope it gets an internation version, with language i can read.
also voting is over in tomorrow. lets see how alteil.jp reacts especially with its mysterious event.
NitroDino : the thing I don't like about blacksun type players is the only thing they want is to win.

In Alteil JP there was a mass exodus after the WTF $$$ cards nerf. It was so bad the issue is even described in the Japanese Wikipedia entry of Alteil.

Essentially, it did a massive blow to Alteil JP and their popularity dropped dramatically.

Sounds like something that should happen. Take people's money for one thing, then take that thing away is basically "thanks for the $, cya!"

Japanese gaming culture sounds **** terrible if they quit because their OPOP cards got nerfed.

Kinda sounds like the mass exodus in SC after zerg rush got nerfed.

Actually I think what they're doing is the right thing. Why continue to play a game that takes your money for one thing and gives you another, worse version?

Some of those players have spent hundreds. Of course they are upset.

Also they didn't nerf all the broken cards. They left stuff like mirelia which is a Lv 4 field wiper, it sometimes gets up to 140 damage to all units and 70 damage to all units is a cake walk for 1 sp.

If the game wasn't so expensive, if it had a normal cost, then nerfing wouldn't matter so much. As of now there is no money back and neither a gran back guarantee.

Nope. This is not because players are butthurt because their cards got nerfed. It's the intentionally malicious business intent behind it.

Alteil JP purposely made cards in new set OP at release. It was designed such that if you did not have these cards you cannot win at all. Then, after a few months, they will nerf them all to "normal" version. Next set releases, rinse and repeat.

Hopefully now that the game is hurt by this bad business, it will change that.

As for Alteil US, I am looking at you, Set 11. Right now it's ok because most players got the set 11 for free. However, if they ever do similar stunts for Set 12, either they will not nerf it (and all the old cards will be useless) or they will (and similar accusations of business malpractice will ensue). One thing they could do is probably buff some of the old cards to make them a bit more balanced compared with modern sets. Do something like a re-release of the old sets to balance things out.

Agreed they need to buff the older cards the same way bear killing axeman got a buff to become viable cards to consider when making files.
