Who here hasn't played against a gm?

Just wondering since I see them play all the time, but can never seem to get a game in with them :/ I'm level 21 and I haven't faced them in either beta or now. I'm constantly seeing people who've gotten rare cards from beating them while I've spent a good bit of money and still seem to be behind in terms of useful cards. So anyone else here in the same boat as me or am I the only one who has been sprayed with anti-gm repellent?

On a side note: When's the next expansion coming out?

I played one of them once at a convention. But I never got in to a game with them in beta, alpha, or with my real account. With so many people playing, I think it's perfectly reasonable to not have run in to them yet.

Heh, I don't count because you don't get nice rare cards from beating me. I think I just count as pseudo-Alteil staff

I have yet to play one since the accounts were wiped and thus aside from the joy of getting to talk to a GM, I didn't really get anything out of playing them, but I did play and beat GaoGaiGirl in the closed beta.

I'm actually kind of surprised they didn't give you GM status DWildStar, does that have to earn all your cards and avatars like the rest of us instead of just being gifted whatever you want?

Yep, I'm playing like everyone else without any free money (though I did get the 1000 FM which I promptly spent on my teddy bear). I like it better this way because I enjoy the sense of accomplishment from saving up with Mirage Master, recycling, using the lottery, treasure battles etc. Also I feel like if I had access to all the cards it'd be more difficult to make a deck rather than gradually gaining new cards and modifying it.
I've been tempted to buy Gran too, but I haven't yet

I would love to play a GM at least once, but so far it hasn't happened.

I haven't yet, nor do I expect to anytime soon. I'd certainly like to, but considering I only play one to three games a day, the odds are pretty stacked against me. Although, that being said, I have already had two Treasure Battles, so I know it's not impossible... (Although I'm positive I won't win if I do face a GM!)
