Refess! White or Yellow?

Postby Grain » Wed Jul 23, 2008 2:31 pm

The Refess symbol has always seemed a lot more yellow than white to me, but nobody else seems to think so.

I think they might be confusing it with Magic: The Gathering.

So, does the Refess symbol seem more yellow or white?

Refess is easy. It's yellow.

Now ask the Lawtia players whether their color is black or purple. Image

Definitely yellow. It fits better with red and blue, the other two primary colours. If it was white, it would seem out of place next to purple rather than black, purple of course being the true colour of evil and darkness.

I've also noticed that some people refer to all the cards as monsters (Yu-Gi-Oh).

Lycanthropes are surely monsters, but the adorable Rapidshot Archer? I think not.

I say yellow for Refess and purple for Lawtia. As long as people can understand what I'm talking about and I can understand them, it really doesn't matter to me.

:/ Thats mean calling people colorblind. I mean black usually refers to evil, and white to holy. Also, I have played Magic for a while, so that kind of stuck.

Refess can be any colour you like.
Refess uses holy, which may be yin, which may be refered as coloured white, or yellow since that's Refess. Due to all of those are references to...holy. :geek:

It doesn't really matter. If you say white, people will say Refess since most people have some references of holy being symboled in white or light.
Lawtia to me is dark and red, but also purple and also yang, and also the evil deck, or the sinister deck. Whatever that relates to traces of evil and madness can be referred to Lawtia in my opinion. It may just get harder the more vague you become.

As long people understand, but I bet this was most a "fun" thread, where you get to see people's respones and comments. 8-)

but the adorable Rapidshot Archer?

Certainly a monster. *nods seriously* Thee hath to terminate that sinister creature of Lavatos!

Yin is black, yang is white.

Yin: qualities are characterized as soft, slow, substantial, water, cold, conserving, tranquil, gentle, and corresponds to the night.

Yang: qualities are characterized as hot, fire, restless, hard, dry, excitement, non-substantial, rapidity, and corresponds to the day.
