My vote was for avatar layers which I'm happy to see has finally moved into second place, but not cause I was super excited by more avatar layers (more unique avatars would be cool but its not a big deal to me) but because I wasn't a big fan of the other choices. More chat options is fine, but again not a big priority to me, the current chat room works good enough and the majority of my chatting will still be on dedicated instant messenger programs. I don't really care for cell phones or their games, if I want a portable game I bring my DS. Remote Strangulation, I already commented on why I'm against that.
Unfortunately though the choice I was most against is winning, Duel Spectating. Don't get me wrong, I'd enjoy spectating other players duels, but unless I'm getting something in return I really would rather not have my games spectated. The problem is the nature of this game, since decks aren't shuffled its very easy to disect or even steal a players card file and play style through having a fight with it as it is, but atleast your limited to only seeing how they react to facing YOUR specific deck and style. If you can spectate top players, you can easily figure out not only their entire card files, but how they are using their decks against all the other top card files. Aside from hurting unique styles that rely on elements of surprise, this will also result in a TON of copy caters who copy the top players card files and openings. Sure some players are limited by the cards they themselves own, but not all of them are, and not all the top decks require the rarest cards.
Long story short, if I was allowed I'd rather convert my vote to an un-vote for Duel Spectating. I just think it would be bad for this type of game. If it is implemented I really would prefer if a player had to manually check "allow duel spectating" and only if both players had that checked would their game be made available for viewing (with exceptions made for top tournament matches which would be spectable by default since in that case you ARE getting something in return for making your card file and style public knowldge, big tournament prizes).
