You guys are totally missing the point.

Let's say you decide to make a game. You decide to have 4 spheres. Do you make each sphere reliant on buffing? Or do you make each sphere reliant on a different tactic?

tacticS I'd make sure all 4 sphere's have different tacticS to chose from. You want to create multiple ways for a player to aproach a problem and play the game. More diversity, strategies and solutions to be found within the game. I don't think you have any other choice either if you want to keep things interesting and keep creating new cards.

A sphere's identity doesn't have to be around a single thing. Returning doesnt have to take in such large portion it overshadows the rest, and/or directly throws things over the powercurve when combined. I feel the same way about Gowen dmg spam btw. Gowen rush is just more diverse so you're not constantly looking at the same set of playcards.

But all spheres revolve around 1 trick.

Gowen - damage spam
lawtia -sp drain and trick spam
refess - buffing spam
falkow - return spam
