This is long overdue. I hope she gets AGI 2.

Because he shouldn't be able to beat so many opens like KP, Carb, Jelly, Bard and set up the 40 DMG SS to kill something with more than 40 HP.

Uhh... if you nerf shade, you completely change the game. If you allow yourself to be shaded turn 1 b/c you're opening kp, you're just a bad player.
How does shade beat buncle when buncle is supposed to counter shade?
I mean, I play refess too, but if you nerf shade to 2 agi, you're giving refess a no risk no brainer potential sp gen for t1 with early ss activation. There would be no reason to play buncle or refugee citizens.
If you really want to mess around with lawtia players, you can play kp wisp wisp.

Icy, it's not about getting SP drained. It's that shade can help kill things during the early phase of the game putting you into an even bigger SP sinkhole and also making you use the first SS on a shade, which you above all else know shade is the last thing you want to hit because it leads to an even bigger SP sinkhole.

As for the other things you said, Soul Pact kills 20 HP and double shades can stop KP.

At the time of the last errata, Shade came up as more powerful than Return.

Non-salient effects ftw!

Both Carb and Shade has 2 AGI. That means Carb open will have 50% chance to fail evading shade SP drain. Reduce its ATK to 5 if you really want to nerf his offensive capability, imo.
