Starter File Updates

While I am fine with keeping the starters the same as from Set 3 (as I already have so many copies of everything that a new Starter would not help me... And it would be difficult to balance...) I still advocate the following changes:


- Replace Rapidshot Magic Archer with Folrart Shrine Knight (from personal experience, her survivability is too low - even with triples)
- Replace one Lion Baron / Zagar with Folrart Shrine Knight (Zagar is too slow without sylph, and a Row-DMG SS does the same trick as his action skill)
- Replace other Lion Baron / Zagar with Instant Revival (because Refess files need at least one or two Instant Revivals to maintain field control and to test with single-copies from the lotto)

Any suggestions for Lawtia, Gowen, and (my favourite sphere Falkow?

Just no. Or do you want to strip refess starters of their only 3* character? Maybe replace him with Safiria or Lapierre, but not with 2*s.

Yeah If you replace zagar with safira it would be interesting...

And rapidshot archer is very good if you know what your doing. I know this one guy in Folrart who is an absolute monster with that card - haven't played him in a while though, mabe he is/was a free player. that's agood card they should just give an extra copy so it's playable.

Yeah with what I just said do thus:

Remove 2 Zagar
Add 1 Rapidshot Archer for a total of 2
Add 1 Safari to replace Zagar as deck corner stone
Remove one Healing grim and replace with instant revival

As long as there is an instant revival.

Rapidshot files are not good. Even stacked with Skeleton Warrior SS, tanks, and sylph, they will never become a meta.

Safiria is too cheap to go in a starter. It is incredibly easy to stall using Safiria.

I had not looked at the rarities. I would rather play with Shrine Knight + Knight Captain +
Folrart Dual-Wielding Soldier than with Lapierre. Just don't add Safiria to a starter. Her action skill is very powerful, and with Instant Revival she could beat the majority of Crest rush files.

EDIT: Then take out Will o Wisp for Flying Calvalry and the third Acolyte and add in some of the row damage SS instead, and you have a good starter file.

What about Cynthia replaces Zagar? Just a random though, decent stats, has the same free sp revive as Kurina and I think that free revive could be helpful to a refess deck.

I never see Azure Dragon - East / Vordore being used in Folrart.

Edit: luckysvn777, I agree with your proposed changes above - except that it makes the Refess Reinforcement packs obsolete! You can still purchase reinforcement packs from the shop... Ooh! Oooh! Folrart Shrine Knights selling at 150 gran!

Phenoca, it would be unfair for some starters to get 3* and others to not. We should replace cards with cards of equal rarity

The starter rarities should stay the same.
