In just about every single card game, card rarity distributions have always been so that there are more common cards(1* cards) than uncommon cards(2* cards) and approximately equal number of uncommon and rare cards(3*, 4*, and 5* cards), but in each of the 60 card expansions (sets 3, 4, and 5) there have been equal amounts of 1* and 2* cards(5 each).
While this might not seem like a big deal I think it actually unbalances card pull and distribution rates, and players end up with a disproportionate amount of repeated common cards, which forces them to recycle alot more often then they should. Future sets should be changed so that their are more 1* cards. Maybe if cards were changed so that their are four 2* and six 1* cards. I mean even now when I look through the card list I can see many 2* cards that can easily be changed to a 1* card without requiring significant errata or any errata at all.
On another note, are all sets after sets 1 and 2 going to be 60 card expansions?
