GM post indicator.

Postby Spears » Mon Feb 08, 2010 1:39 pm

Anyone else think that some indication on whether a gm has written in a thread would be useful ,like the red star indicating that youve posted in it?

And have special colored text, just like blizzard moderators have their blizzblue.

Alteil is pretty much well balanced. Sometimes you loose and sometimes the enemy wins.

+1 to this idea.

The GMs here might not know it, might not even like it, but their words hold tremendous power and meaning for their altiel forum goers. When a guy like me posts, most people probably just skim over it (especially if its a huge block of text), but when a GM posts, even if its 2 pages of un-paragraph breaked banter about their day, the forum goers hang on every word, looking for any hidden morsels of information related to the game that may have slipped out. Being able to more easily find threads where a GM has made a statement, no matter how vague or irrelevant to the actual topic, would be incredibly convenient.

That may be one of the better ideas I have heard in a while. Most all post by them are important as well

A very great idea! Because sometimes people want to know whether a thread has been replied to by a GM.

Reminds me of battle.net XD
Nerf Elite Fencer. Change start skill to "target unit of agi 4 or higher gets AGI = 3. Then, this unit gets AGI = 4 for this turn and ATK +10"

For the great justice of the diverse meta.

On one hand, the GM would be hunted down.

On the other, people might ask less questions that were previously answered and dwild could do less searching and linking.

I'm indifferent on the matter, because I rather the GM work on game content, rather than such a small thing that would not do much.

People will always ask questions that are already answered no matter what, and it would only benefit a small portion of the population that actually searches on the forum. It also doesn't help much if the thread has like 15+ pages, you'd still gotta run through alot of pages to find it as well, sure it will narrow it down, but again, won't benefit much people.
