Capitalism, Ho!

Demo for the item shop running / dungeon crawling game, Recettear. More amusing than I thought it would be.

Got this game the day it came out. Epic game, great indie product. One of the best videogames I've ever played for sure.

The only downside to the game is that it's too short, not enough to satisfy your hunger for such an awesome game like this.

My wife bought this game the other day and we stayed up until 4am playing it all night selling items to people at 30 points on the dollar. Needless to say, work sucked the very next day.

I will try to ensure my children don't read this thread.

I think one of my favorite parts was when a customer wanted to sell me Taiyaki, then immediately the VERY SAME CUSTOMER asked to buy some food. So I gave him Taiyaki, and charged him twice what I bought it for :P

Bought it, liked it-probably not worth 20 bucks, but it's close.

So.. I been playing the game, and was really sad once it ended at the 36th day.

Decided to play in endless mode and trying to unlock every item because I'm a collector/completest at heart. Only 44% item completion atm, but its pretty fun.

There is so much more to discover after the first playthrough. They should have made the game longer to make people that only plays once stay longer, because on my first playthrough, I've only unlocked like 3 characters and only 3 dungeons, yet there was so much more dungeons/items/characters to unlock and enjoy.

And yes, great image fargone, I had no idea what that is about the first time I saw it, now it makes sense haha.
